About Sethan Dome 

Sethan dome is famous for trekking, wildlife, camping, photography and skiing. Located at 12000 ft, Sethan dome is a hot spot for winter sports. 

Sethan is a small Buddhist village at the end of Kullu Valley and a gateway to Lahaul-Spiti over the HamptaPass. It is also one of the prettiest and most popular trekking destinations in India. Also, it is one of the few places in Himachal Pradesh that remains untouched by tourists. The area's primary attraction is Snow sports during winters and alpine treks during summers.

 The Route:

  • The wilderness Lodge, Sethan to Sethan dome basecamp

  • Sethan dome basecamp to Dome and ski/snowboard down to sethan village


If you are new to snowboarding, join us on a 3 day course 25th on to learn the basic before attempting the ski-down (suggest arriving a day earlier)

Detailed Itinerary

Day 0 - Thursday, 26th January 2023 (Optional Add-on)  

Arrive in Sethan. After lunch go for an acclimatization hike around our beautiful village. Return to the base camp to chat with the fellow explorers over bonfire and dinner.

Basic Skiing/Snowboarding lessons and acclimatising walk. Stay in comfortable rooms at the Wilderness Lodge

Day 1.  Friday, 27th January 2023

Report at the Wilderness Lodge, Sethan, our base 

  • Meet the guides and fellow participants

  • Briefing and introduction to the trip 

  • Familiarise with your gear and practise

  • 6 hour snowshoe hike with packed food, to Sethan Dome Basecamp.

  • Early dinner and stay in Tents


Day 2.  Saturday, 28th January 2023

Descend back to Sethan basecamp

  • Have breakfast and collect packed lunch for the way.

  • Gear up and start descending to the Sethan base camp.

  • Experience Skiing/Snowboarding to descend to “dA Base”. 























Cost: 


  1. Sethan Dome Snowshoeing 2 days w 1-night snow camping: INR 9999 +5%GST per Person

  2. Sethan Dome Ski/Snowboard Down with own gear: INR. 9999 + %% gst

  3. Optional day 0 - stay at lodge on triple sharing with bf - inr 2500 + 5% gst

  4. 24th-25th and 26th Guided Snowboarding (basics lesson) with stay at the lodge w bf - 24000 + 5% gst
